Hyolmo incense usually refers to a common style of incense found in Hyolmo, Nepal. It is an important representation of the Hyolmo culture. Hyolmo used to pay tribute to the Buddhas using the Hyolmo incense as a form of highest respect. These incenses have a characteristic "earthy" or herbal scent to them. Hyolmo incenses can contain 35 or more ingredients. |

Hyolmo Incense comes from a centuries old tradition of combining special medicinal and therapeutic substances derived from herbs, flowers and minerals that when burned, deliver an aroma which can help to sooth and calm a restless mind. Hyolmos living in Nepal hand roll our incense sticks, in their home cottage industries, to make these wonderful fragrances. We use sandalwood, rose petals, jasmine flowers, cedar bark and numerous other ingredients to obtain these enjoyable aromas. There are no perfumes or bamboo stick in our incense.
This incense comes from a Monastery in Nepal. The package reads: " Our Traditional Hyolmo incense sticks are carefully hand made.
